$YEET can be unstaked at any time to redeem principal position. However, a staker must first undergo a 10
day Unstaking Period to get back 100%
of their staked $YEET.
The unstaker has the option to get back their $YEET before these 10
days have elapsed, however depending on if and when they do so, a variable fee is incurred on their principal.
After activating unstaking, the stakers $YEET stops accruing $BERA revenue and begins the 10
day Unstaking Period.
If staker does not wish to wait 10
days to get back their $YEET, they may RageQuit at any time
Depending on when the RageQuit is activated, a variable fee is incurred
If activated on day 0
, 50%
of staked tokens are burned and remaining 50%
are made liquid
If activated on day 3
, 35%
of staked tokens are burned and remaining 65%
are made liquid
This variable fee decreases linearly for 10
days, at which point it reaches 0%
Staked $YEET tokens may now be claimed without incurring any fees
Why does this Unstaking Period & RageQuit exist?
Disincentivizes unstaking
If mercenary stakeholders wish to unstake quickly and capture value from $YEET price appreciation, they create burning which benefits $YEET holders and stakers
